Larry L. Hamil

Larry Lee Hamil of Enid, Oklahoma, passed away on August 11, 2026, in Enid, Oklahoma. Larry was born on August 15, 1942, to Earl and Iva Hamil in Kingfisher, Oklahoma.

Larry graduated from Loyal High School in 1958. He worked for Pioneer Telephone before beginning a long career in the construction industry. Larry worked for Cummins Construction Company for 30 years and spent several additional years working in construction. A skilled welder, Larry, also started his own welding business in 1977.

Larry is survived by his sons, Larry "J.R" Hamil and wife Rose, Lester Hamil and wife Melissa, Chris Hamil and wife Leslie, and Craig Hamil and wife Hillary; as well as his grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great-grandchildren; and numerus nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Jane; his parents, Earl and Ava Hamil; two brothers, Raymond and Dorman; and one sister, Montie.

A memorial celebrating the lives of both Larry and Jane will be held at a later date, honoring their lives together and celebrating 60 years of marriage.

Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Ladusau-Evans and Crematory.
