Larry was born in Enid and graduated from Enid High School in 1969. He then graduated with a business degree from Phillips University in 1972. That same year, he married his high school sweetheart, Debbie. They were married for 54 years. Larry was a proud father and grandfather, and loved spending time watching his children and grandchildren play baseball and softball. Any time with family was so special to him, and he was always excited to travel and have new experiences.
He retired from the Bank of Kremlin, having successfully been in the business of banking for 46 years. Larry was known for always listening to his customers, offering friendly advice and performing his job with great integrity and dedication.
Larry is survived by his wife, Debbie, of the home. Other survivors include his daughter, Stacey Siler, her husband Chris, and son Jantz, all of Cherokee, Okla., and daughter Madison, of Mobile, Ala. His son Adam Jantz and his wife Lindsay and their daughter Aubrey, all of San Diego, Calif., also survive him. Two sisters-in-law and their families also survive Larry: Sandy Abernathy and husband Ronnie, and their sons, Carter and Colin and their families, and Anita Bruzzese and husband Len, their two sons, Nicholas and Ethan, as well as three nieces, Tracy, Melanie, and Melissa, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews, loads of great friends and a beloved dog, Zeus.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, his parents, Delmar and Jean Jantz; in-laws, Don and Audrey Hess, and sister, Glynda Jantz.
Memorial donations in Larry's name may be made to the Enid SPCA, to honor Bandit, who preceded Larry in death, but who Larry lovingly called "his favorite animal in the world." Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home will serve as custodian of the funds.
