A Celebration of Life for Lavada Voss, 90, of Edmond, will be Saturday, July 25, 2026, 10:00 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum with Reverend David Seltenreich officiating; with burial following in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Service arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends at the Memorial Park Mausoleum from 8:30 to 9:30 AM before the service.
Lavada was born on June 2, 1936, in Stroud, OK to Albert and Mary (Butler) Thrasher, and passed away on July 23, 2026, in Edmond.
Lavada is preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, James Moore, and James Voss; and son Ronald Moore. She is survived by two daughters, Pamela Hanan and her husband Gregg Hanan of Houston, TX, Tisha Emerson and her husband Benjamin of Edmond, OK; two sons, Jim Moore of Edmond, OK and Terry Moore and his wife Lori of Arlington, TX, ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Lavada lived a life rooted in faith, love, and devotion to her family. She was a loving and supportive wife, a dedicated mother, and a faithful servant of the Lord. As a longtime member of Enid First Baptist Church, her faith was the foundation of her life and was reflected in the kindness, compassion, and encouragement she shared with others.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory serving as custodians of the funds.
