Leatha M. Summers

A Celebration of Life Service for Leatha M Summers age 90 of Enid will be 2:00 pm Friday, September 11, 2026, at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Ray Rose and Eldon Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery, Helena, OK under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Leatha was born June 2, 1936, in Ringwood, OK to Ashley and Mable (Van Etten) Farrington and passed away Saturday, September 5, 2026, in St. Mary's Regional Hospital. She grew up and attended Cleo Springs school. At an early age she worked at a grocery store in Oklahoma City in the early 1960's. She moved to Enid in 1964 and later married Robert Summers on June 10, 1967, in Enid. Leatha worked at the commissary at Vance AFB retired in 1997. She was a member of Garriott Road Church of Christ.

Leatha is survived by her husband Robert, son Eldon (Connie) Stephens, two daughters Marilyn (Richard) Yazel and Sandra Griffin, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one great-great grandson, sister Gayle Moore and a brother Rex Farrington along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her four brothers, two sisters and two grandsons.
