Graveside services for Marvin Lee Earhart, age 78, of Waukomis, will be 10:00 am, Friday, October 10, 2025, at Waukomis Cemetery with Jeffery Grimes officiating. Military honors will be provided by the United States Army Honor Guard. The family will receive friends for a visitation and viewing from 6:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, October 9th, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Marvin was born August 14, 1947, to Albert and Nadine (Ives) Earhart, and passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025, in Enid.

Marvin graduated from Enid High School in 1966. Following high school, he entered the United States Army with his friend Ronnie Smith on the Buddy Program. Marvin served his country for three years with two deployments to Germany and Vietnam. After being discharged in August 1967, he came back home to Enid and worked for Champlin Refinery for nine years and then worked at Vance Air Force Base for the next 25 years before retirement. He and Carol Duffy were married on March 4, 1972, at the Madison Avenue Baptist Church in Enid.

Marvin is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carol, of the home in Waukomis, two sons, Jason Earhart and wife Susan, of Newton, KS, Kelly Earhart and wife Sylvia, of Enid, seven grandchildren, Kayleb, Kyle, Joshwa and fiancé Sydney, Isaiah and fiancé Cerena, Karlie, Killian and Elouise, and one great-granddaughter due in April, Wiley Jo. Two brothers, Howard and Jerry Earhart, and sister, Lillian Watts also survive Marvin, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Garland Road Nursing Home for their kind and compassionate care of Marvin.

Memorial contributions in Marvin's name may be made to the Blue Star Mothers or the Wounded Warrior Project with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
