Funeral services for Mary A. Lewis, age 86, of Piedmont, formerly of Enid, will be 11:00 am, Thursday, January 15, 2026, at New Hope United Methodist Church, with Pastor Hagen Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00- 7:30 pm on Wednesday, January 14th at the funeral home.

Mary was born February 6, 1939, in Hillsdale, Oklahoma, to Wilfred and Audrey (Boring) Stoner, and passed away Sunday, January 11, 2026, in Piedmont, Oklahoma.

Mary attended Enid Public Schools, graduating in 1958. She attended Enid Business College focusing on secretarial duties, where she excelled at the lost art of shorthand. She married Robert Lewis on August 30, 1963, at St. Lukes United Methodist Church of Enid. They lived in Enid all their married lives. They were members of New Hope United Methodist Church. She worked at Champlin Refinery for several years before deciding to become a stay-at-home mom to her three children.

In her spare time, Mary liked to paint, crochet, knit, put together jigsaw puzzles, word searches, sudoku, crossword puzzles and read.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Lewis, two brothers, Leon and Bill Stoner, and two sisters, Leota Rogers and Judy Johnson. She is survived by her children, Anna McBeth and husband Shawn, of Piedmont, OK, Darryl Lewis and wife Candy, of Enid, OK, and Joey Lewis of Enid, seven grandchildren, Chad Hoppe, Abby Davis, Carrie DeClerck, Joshua Lewis, Abi Ward, Jakob Lewis and Kaiya Lewis, six great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.

Memorial contributions in Mary's name may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation Rheumatoid Arthritis Division with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
