Funeral services for Pauline Helen Meyer, age 89, of Covington, will be 10:00 am, Saturday, February 17, 2024, at the Covington Community Church with Rev. Tommy Donaldson officiating. Burial will follow in Covington Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
Pauline was born February 5, 1935, on the farm south of Covington, to George and Mary (Vaughan) Kaiser, and passed away February 9, 2024. She graduated from Hayward High School in 1953. She and Doyle Meyer were married on July 4, 1953. Their first home was in Texas, where their first son was born and Doyle was stationed at Ft. Hood, Texas. They moved back to the farm they bought south of her parents’ home place, where they raised four sons. She enjoyed gardening, pets, crafts and ceramics. Pauline also loved flowers and house plants and could grow anything. She was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steeler, OSU and OU football.
Pauline is survived by her sons, James Meyer, and wife Patricia; Alvin Meyer, and wife Cheryl; and Greg Meyer; five grandchildren; Kay Scott and husband Ernie; Austin Meyer and wife Mindy; Julie Stowers and husband Mike; Colby Meyer; Amber Roberts and husband Johnathan; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; brother, Irvin Kaiser and friend, Veona Moody; sister, Georgia Curtis; and a host of nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Doyle Meyer; son, Lynn Meyer, and brother, Raymond Kaiser.
Memorial donations in Pauline’s name may be made to Tri-County Senior Citizens Center-Covington or Covington Community Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
