Gertrude V “Trudy” Mitchell, 92, of Nash passed away July 11, 2013 at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. At her request, there will be no services. Cremation was under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Trudy was born June 8, 1921 in Los Angeles the daughter of Joseph andl Gertrude Sketchley Cuevas. She was a graduate of Freemont High Scholl in Los Angeles, CA. Trudy moved to Nash in 2005 and was a faithful member of the Nash Christian Church. She loved gardening and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed being a mother to many of her daughters friends.
Survivors include a daughter, Penny Nichols of Nash, a grandson, Cade Shores of Northern California, a great granddaughter, Makena Sherrell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Mitchell, a daughter, Candy Nichols, and a grandson, Devin K Sherrell.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Nash Christian Church or The Nash Fire Dept.
