Myrtle Lou Wanzer

A Celebration of Life for Myrtle Lou Wanzer, age 89, of Enid, will be 11:00 am, Friday, April 10, 2026, at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery; service arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm, Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the funeral home.

Myrtle was born on July 13, 1936, in Billings, Oklahoma, to Charley and Helen (Fluman) Dayton, and passed away April 5, 2026, in Enid.

Myrtle enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, she also enjoyed dancing and playing bingo at the Commons.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents, Charley, and Helen; husband Robert "Gene" Wanzer; and son Dennis Wanzer. She is survived by one daughter Kathy Stevison; one son Bruce Wanzer; daughter in law Shella Wanzer; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and brother Chet Dayton.
