Norma Lee Roy

A Celebration of Life Service for Norma Lee Roy age 102 of Enid will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at Hillsdale Bible Church. Burial will follow in the Hillsdale Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00-7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Norma was born December 9, 1923, in Hillsdale, Oklahoma to Harry and Beulah (Benell) Nash and passed away Thursday, July 30, 2026, at The Commons. Norma attended and graduated from Hillsdale School with the class of 1941. She married Jack Roy on January 9, 1943, in California. They lived most of their life in Hillsdale. Jack passed away in 1993. Norma then moved to Enid where she worked at Dillard’s.

Norma was a member of the Hillsdale Bible Church all of her life. She served as a Sunday school teacher, sang in the choir and was a deaconess for two terms.

Norma is survived by her children; Joy Dennis, Jon and Oleita Roy, and Julie and Terry Sloan, nine grandchildren; Lea Van Meter, Tim Dennis, Mike Roy, Jennifer (Jeff) White, Jackie (Danny) Strobbe, Nathan (Holly) Ellis, Tyler (Tanya) Ellis, Kindra (Adam) Sloan, and Lynsie (Eli) Slater, great grandchildren; Chloe, Callie, Camree Van Meter, Sarah (Travis) Howser, Conner (Anne) Dennis, Austin and Hope Ellis, Taylor, and Taryn Ellis, Alex and Charley White, Ashley Roy, Brandon Strobbe, Reece and Rhett Hodges, great-great grandchildren; Gracie and Hallie Howser, Naddie and Maverick Houser, and Hallie Parker, and half-brother, Harry Nash and his family.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Kathy Messenger and son-in-law Bob Dennis, and a brother Harry D. Nash.

Memorials may be made to Hillsdale Bible Church with the funeral home serving as custodians of the funds.
