Patricia Ann "Patti" Bingham, 83, of Enid, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by the love of her family. A devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend, Patti will be remembered for her generous spirit, deep compassion, great sense of humor, and the way she made everyone in her life feel genuinely loved.
Born on June 21, 1942, in Enid, Oklahoma, Patti was the daughter of Jack and Geneva Booher and sister to Donita Kleiwer. After attending business college, she embarked on a career as a secretary- a role that perfectly suited her warm personality and dedication to helping others. On August 18, 1961, she married Charles Lee Nichols and they raised three sons. Their life together took them across Oklahoma, Alabama, Washington, Pennsylvania, New York, and Kansas before returning to Enid, where Patti's heart was always rooted.
In the summer of 1975, Patti met and married Timothy (Tim) Bingham, with whom she enjoyed many happy years in Perry, Oklahoma. She worked as secretary at Perry Junior High, where her kindness touched not only students but staff and parents alike. She was also a longtime member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority.
Patti's proudest accomplishment was being a mother to her four sons: Chris, Steve, Brad, and Jason. She was their biggest fan at every game, match, or special event. She extended that same enthusiasm and affection to her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and countless friends. She had a compassionate heart for the many dogs she adored throughout her life, each a treasured companion. She was active in church communities in each place she lived, ensuring her boys grew up grounded in faith and values. After raising their four boys in Perry, they moved back to Enid, Oklahoma, where they lived many years together. In 2012, Patti moved to Loveland, Colorado, where she lived for several years before returning back to Enid early this year.
Patti was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Geneva, and her husband, Timothy. She is survived by her sister, Donita Kleiwer, and her sons, Chris Nichols, Steve (Jennifer) Nichols, Brad (Susan) Nichols, and Jason (Angie) Bingham, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
