Pauleta Alice Liles Todd, born August 6, 1942, in Roosevelt, passed away on March 2, 2026, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of love, faith, and family.
Pauleta lived much of her life in Enid, where she built both her career and her community. She worked for many years as a dedicated bookkeeper, payroll clerk, and accounts payable specialist. Known affectionately as an "accounts payable wizard," she retired at the age of 75 from Luckinbill. Throughout her career, she also worked for CDSA, Enid Fabricators, and Enid News & Stationery. She took great pride in her work and in the relationships she built along the way.
Pauleta was a woman of deep faith and attended Central Assembly of God Church and House of Prayer. Her faith was evident in the way she lived her life - always giving, always serving, and always loving.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Cecil Liles and Dorothy Sylvania Jacobs; her grandson, Tyler Hoeltzel; her brother-in-law, Jim Grugin; and the father of her children, Donald Lee Haub.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie Todd; her children, Greg Haub (Lisa), Gina Haub (Lynn Davidson), Ginger (Richard) Spady, Gary (Wendy) Haub, and Robert (Catherine) Todd.
Her grandchildren include Brice (Sheila) Overstreet, Brent (Mandy) Overstreet, Brody (Ericka) Overstreet, April (Kyle) Maly, Shelby (Steven) Gregory, Branden (Anna) Spady, Brianna Spady, Ashley (Colby) Wilkerson, Preston Haub, and Micheala' (Casey) Marshall. She also leaves behind 31 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren - what an incredible legacy of love.
Pauleta is also survived by her sister, Betty Grugin of West Virginia; her brother, T.R. Liles of Florida; her sister, Donna Hoepfner of Enid; and her brother, Larry Liles and his wife, Bobbie.
Pauleta's life extended far beyond her career and immediate family. She loved painting, fishing, gardening, and cooking - and she shared those gifts generously. In the Pioneer community, she was known as "the other mother." She helped raise many children, serving faithfully as a Den Mother and 4-H leader but most of all Pioneer School sports and band mom. To countless young people, she was simply "Mamaw."
Her life was defined by devotion - to her family, her faith, her work, and her community. The love she poured into others will ripple through generations.
Memorial contributions in Pauleta's name may be made to Enid Too AMBUCS (rural school projects) with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
