Peggy Jane Base

A Celebration of Life service for Peggy Jane Base age 87 of Enid will be 3:00 pm Saturday, June 27, 2026 in the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Edward Willis officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Peggy was born August 1, 1938 in Cement, OK to Lois Franklin and Evelyn Mae (Sumpter) Pate and passed away June 11, 2026 at her daughter's home. She grew up in Cement and graduated from Cement High School in 1956. She married Jimmy Base on April 25, 1956 in Cement, OK and he passed away in 2005. Peggy moved to Enid in 2007.

Peggy is survived by her children; Kim (David) Harvey and Jo Sharkey, and son Tim (Carol) Base, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, son Pat Base, grandson Cameron Williams, brother Franklin Pate, and sister Joan Johnson.
