Funeral Services for Robin Virginia "Ginger" Fouts Row, age 78, of Enid, will be 10:00am, Friday, November 14, 2025, at Enid Free Methodist Church with Jeffery Grimes officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm, on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at a later date in the Ashville Cemetery, in Ashville, Alabama. Service arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
Ginger was born October 29, 1947, in Gadsten, Alabama to Oscar and Robbie (Morgan) Fouts, and passed away on November 8, 2025, in Enid. She was raised in Alabama and graduated from Ashville High School where she was valedictorian, homecoming queen, and a cheerleader. Ginger graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in education in 1968. She went on to obtain a Mater's Degree at Louisiana Tech in 1974, In 2004, she obtained her Doctorate in Human Resources from OSU.
Ginger married Alan May in 1968 and had their son Patrick May. She and Alan moved to Enid in 1970 where Alan completed pilot training. She later married Buddy Row on February 14, 1980, in Enid, Oklahoma. Ginger taught school in Alabama and moved to Enid in 1970. She worked for Greenbrier Nursing Home in Social Services and later at Billings Fairchild Center as Director of Psycho-social services for 5 years, planner at NODA Agency on Aging, Housing Director at CDSA, and outreach director for RSVP for twenty-five years. Ginger was a member of the Enid Free Methodist Church. Ginger and Buddy were also members of the Enid Corvette Club where they formed some amazing friendships.
Ginger was very active in community organizations and served as a Board member for several non-profit agencies.
Ginger was an avid OSU and Auburn sports fan and would give out a loud WAR EAGLE if she saw anyone wearing Auburn apparel. She loved sports, especially snow skiing with friends and family. She loved to travel and visited almost of the states, Mexico, Canada, Europe, South America and the Caribbean.
Ginger is preceded in death by her parents; husband Buddy; stepson Jeff Row; and daughter-in-law, Brynda Row. She is survived by her son, Patrick and wife Lane May, of Grand Bay, Alabama; stepsons, Brad and Adam Row; grandchildren, Wyatt May, Hunter Row, Brandon Row, Alexis Shaw, Haley Hashman, Lindsey Ogden; great grandchildren, Lily Ogden; and sister, Margaret and husband Dave Jones of Enid.
Memorial donations may be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital, A Path of Care Hospice, or Enid Free Methodist Church, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory serving as custodian of the funds.
