A Celebration of Life Service for Shirley Hole, age 79, of Enid, will be 11:00am, Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Garland Road Baptist Church, with Reverend Billy Benson officiating. Service and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral and Crematory.
Shirley was born on June 11, 1946 in Enid, Oklahoma to Charles and Lila (Johnson) Sanders, and passed away on June 26, 2025 at her home.
Shirley attended Longfellow School, and graduated from Kremlin High School. She worked for Charburgers in high school, before transitioning into childcare. She married the love of her life, Bill Hole on October 23, 1964. She and Bill bought Happi Time Daycare in 1985. She acted as owner/director until her retirement in 2001. Shirley loved the Lord. She was baptized at and a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she ran the nursery, and taught Sunday School. She and Bill eventually became members of Garland Road Baptist Church.
Shirley loved her family, spending time with her grandkids, playing cards, attending their sporting events, traveling, and weekends at the lake.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gerald Sanders; daughter, Amy (Hole) Bower; and grandson, Brandon McNaughton. She is survived by her husband Bill; children, Robin
(Tony) Coffman, Cindy McNaughton; grandchildren, Brooke (Landon) Martin, Stacia (Mitch) Maxwell, Brett (Raleigh) McNaughton, Nick Coffman, Jordan McNaughton, and Kyrah (Zeke) Mize; and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Cancer Foundation, Inc. with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
