Steven Ray Nightengale

A Celebration of Life Service for Steven Ray Nightengale, age 65, of Billings, will be 10:00 am, Monday, October 12, 2026, at the Billings Community Center, in Billings, OK, with Pastor Kurtis Stoll officiating. Burial will follow in the Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, in Perry, OK. Service arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm, Sunday, October 11, 2026, at the funeral home.

Steven Ray Nightengale passed away on October 5, 2026. Steve was born on August 5, 1961, in Enid, OK to Leonard Nightengale and Karen (Unruh) Tickle.

Steve grew up in Lahoma, OK and attended Oklahoma Bible Academy, graduating in 1979. During his life, he held various jobs including construction work, Hughes Lumber in Enid, OK, Rush Metals in Billings, OK, and TORO (previously Ditch Witch) in Perry, OK where he's worked for the past 18 years.

Steve is preceded in death by his grandparents Clifford Nightengale and Rudolph and Martha (Sawatzky) Unruh.

Steve is survived by his wife Donna; daughter Erica; parents Leonard Nightengale and Karen Tickle; brother Jeff Nightengale; sister Shelli Prince and her husband Steve Prince; nieces and nephews Adam and Jessica Prince, Seth and Katie Conner, Holly Nightengale, Marlie Nightengale, and Leo and Darcie Davis; great nieces and nephews Dailyn, Elliot, Harrison, and Colin; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Steve married his wife, Donna, on November 8, 1997, and together they had their daughter, Erica, who was the center of his world. Steve was very devoted to his family. Whether he was spending time with his wife and daughter or his parents, he was always there for his family. He had a passion and love for cars, being a handyman, and had an incredible artistic ability. Steve was loved by his family, friends, and the community. He was always present for his daughter's many activities and was able to see her reach her biggest life goal of becoming a veterinarian back in May. He was a proud and loving father, husband, and son and will be missed by many.
