A Celebration of Life Service for Thomas Ivan Holder, age 82, of Hennessey, will be from 2:00-4:00 pm, April 26, 2026, at the Turkey Creek Golf Course, in Hennessey, Oklahoma. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Tom was born on January 28, 1944, to Ivan and Barbara Hoder. He graduated from Garber High School in 1962. He entered the Army in the 291st Regiment and was a drill sergeant until 1969, where he was discharged with honorable mentions. He was the oldest of three children. His siblings, Patricia Moery, and her husband Mickey, reside in Eufaula, Oklahoma, and Tim Holder of Hennessey, Oklahoma.

Their childhood was full of love and memories that Tom learned to pass onto his family when he started his life with Rebecca (Becky) Semrad. Tom and Becky were married September 26, 1964, their love story was one of a kind, they lived life to the fullest and truly honored their marriage vows for sixty-two years.

They have three children: Randy Holder and his late wife Joyce Holder, Deborah Roden and her late husband Kevin Roden, and Angie Snodgrass and her husband Mark. Tom was the best Papaw to his ten grandkids and two great grandkids. They brought him the most joy, keeping up with their life events.

He was the best friend to many over the years; his daily phone calls will be missed by all. We all will remember his honorary spirit, his work ethic, and his unconditional love.
