Tommy R. Moormann

A Celebration of Life Service for Tommy "Butch" Moormann, age 77, of Enid, will be 3:00 pm, Friday, September 25, 2026, at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel, with Reverend Jim Edmison officiating. Service and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Butch was born on April 26, 1949, in Enid, OK to Homer and Martha (Sattlemeir) Moormann, and passed away on September 18, 2026, in Enid, surrounded by his family.

Butch graduated from Garber High School in 1967. Shortly after high school, he joined the Army Reserves, where he proudly served for five years. In 1970, Butch began his career with the Frisco Railroad, dedicating nearly four decades to the railroad industry before retiring from BNSF Railway in 2009. In 1995, he married Kimberly Abiera in Enid, Oklahoma, and together they built a life filled with family and cherished memories.

Butch enjoyed spending his time boating, riding motorcycles, and cooking. He was also an avid football fan and especially enjoyed watching the Washington Redskins.

Butch is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Donnie Moormann, and Larry Moormann; and one sister Patricia "Patsy" Bonnett. He is survived by his wife Kimberly; daughter Marti Moormann; stepdaughter Brooke Bonnett; sisters, Shirley (Jerry) Holding, Suzy Postier, Connie (Murv) McGolden, and Nancy Tucker; several nieces and nephews; and best friend Mark A. Hemphill.

Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory serving as custodian of the funds.
