Uncle Robert, Aunt Teresa, Blake... I have been at a loss for words & do not really know what (or the right things) to say. I am shocked & saddened by the loss of Derek. I cannot imagine your pain. I wish I had a way to comfort you. I hurt too because I love Derek. I still remember the day Grandma Edie took me to your house to meet him for the first time after he was born and brought home. I remember all the family gatherings & the fun times we all had with sweet Derek. I will always cherish those memories. I want you to know that I have been (& am) thinking of you, you have been (& are) in my heart, and have been (& are) in my prayers. I wish so much that I could be there in person today, and I am so sorry that I can't. I love you all deeply.
