The Celebration of Life for Joan Carol Saint, age 78, of Enid will be Friday, August 26, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the United Methodist Church of Hennessey with Pastor Jimmy Berkenbile officiating. Burial will be in the Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be from 6-7 pm Thursday evening at the funeral home.

Joan was born October 18, 1937 in Denver, CO to Lloyd and Myrtle Britigan and died August 19, 2016 in Enid, OK. She graduated in 1955 from Denver High School. The family moved to Beaver, KS and there is where she met and married Clifton A Saint, Jr. They moved to Hennessey, OK in 1965. Joan graduated from Phillips University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education.

She taught English for over 20 years before retiring. Joan devoted herself to her teaching. She enjoyed travel, photography, sewing, painting, grandkids and writing. She enjoyed traveling, participating in the women’s Group United Methodist, FOB. She enjoyed spending time with all of her grandkids and great grandkids.

Survivors include a sister, Lenny Armstrong; a brother, Kenny Britigan and his wife Richelle. Her two daughters, Sandra Adasiak, and Laura J. McCormick and husband, Bill; son, Clif A. Saint, III and his wife, Michelle; stepdaughter, Lisa Gregory; grandkids: Stacia Dunkin and husband, Jerame, Colby Adasiak and wife Paige, Colin, Lucas and Christian McCormick, Meagan, Ian, Stephen and Johnathan Saint; great grandkids, Addyson, Brayden and Chaylen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, Clifton Saint; 3 siblings, Michael Britigan, Marlys Salo, and Norman Britigan; brother-in-laws: Don Armstrong and Jack Salo.
