They moved to Hennessey in the summer of 1977 and she and Floyd both worked at Choate Ford and were members of the Lions and Lioness Clubs and the First Christian Church. She was a member of Davis Park Christian Church and Oakwood Christian Church in Enid, where she volunteered in the office.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Floyd Bennett; two brothers, Bill Daniels and Jim White; a sister, Pat Case; sister-in-law, Dolly Daniels; brother-in-law Wes Sallee. She is survived by three children, Julie Bennett-McMican and husband Mike, of Oklahoma City; Linda Brezina and husband Larry, of Bison, Ok; Gene Bennett and wife Tracy, of Davis, Ok; five grandchildren, Brent Brezina and wife Amy, of Oklahoma City; Cristy Southards and husband David, of Enid; Jamey Click and husband Matt, of El Dorado, KS; Shane Bennett and wife Kelsey, of Davis, OK; Emily Steen and husband Justin, of Enid; three step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
